Nature of Data Held by Divine Water PHE Ltd (Enquiries)

In order to respond to enquiries from this web site, we ask only for your email address. Optionally, you can add your name and your phone number, which gives us the opportunity to personalise your reply, or contact you by phone if you find that more convenient.

If we are unable to contact you and your enquiry remains incomplete for 90 days, the information is deleted, regardless of there having been no satisfactory conclusion to the enquiry.

Nature of Data Held by Divine Water PHE Ltd (Customers)

Our legal obligation to HMRC is that we hold all VAT records and invoices for seven years. Once this term has passed, records are destroyed.

In order to protect the vital interest of our boiler customers, sufficient information is held to enable us to send reminders relating to annual services of equipment to ensure continued safe operation.

To fulfil our contractual obligation to landlords, and our legal responsibility as Gas Safe Engineers, we hold sufficient information on the tenants of rented properties where we provide Gas Safety Certificates, to enable us to send them a copy, which is required of us by law.

Data held relating to customers

Contact information is held for the purpose of:

  • Responding to your enquiry

  • Sending reminders for gas boiler servicing

  • Sending originals and copies of Gas Safety Certificates to landlords and tenants

  • Invoice details may or may not contain personally identifiable data. These will be retained for the period laid down in our legal obligation to the tax authorities.

We do not sell or make ‘Personal Data’ available to 3rd parties. We do not send spam. From time to time we will send a marketing email with new services/products, special offers or discounts that may be of interest to you.

We will keep the information that we hold for you for 10 years after we have had no contact with you.

You are entitled to see the data we hold. Simply send a request via e-mail from the address we hold on file. We will contact you to confirm your identity and then make your data available to view.

Employees and persons with whom we have done business, can have their data removed only from our mailing list. The easiest way to do this is to click ‘unsubscribe’ when you receive anything you don’t want.
